Response To Light

It seems like all of I’ve been doing the last week and a half is packing boxes (for what seems like the umpteenth time). It’s slow, painful, and frustrating. I decided to take a break and ‘play’ on the computer. I remember downloading a trial piece of software called ArtMaster Pro. It converts photographs into art. One of the things it really does well is converting a picture into what looks like hand drawn art. The first couple of things I worked on were portraits that I took. They turned out okay but there was something still missing. Then I remembered some pictures I was working on from Vegas. Below is the result.

Considering my drawing skills are quite bad, I think this turned out quite well. Time will tell if this piece will stand up but I believe I’m heading in the right direction.

Okay, I admit it. I had a thing for Natalie Portman. Starting with her role in The Professional and growing into Beautiful Girls, she had a certain something that made you think, “When she gets a little older….” Well now she is older and that certain something has disappeared.

What does this have to do with the movie? Nothing.

As I have done a lot lately, I fell asleep in the first half of the movie. When I awoke, I asked myself, “Why did I wake up?”
